Privacy policy

This policy covers the mobile games published by The Jar of Life and this website. The Jar of Life is run by one independent developer.

The short version

• No accounts and no sign-up. I don't ask for your name, email or any other personal details inside my games.
• No in-app purchases, so I never handle payment details.
• Your game progress is saved on your device.
• My games show optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob. Google may collect some device data to serve those ads. Details are below.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

My games show an ad only when you choose to watch one for an in-game reward. There are no banners and no forced ads. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show ads and measure how they perform, Google may collect and use information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device model and operating system, and how you interact with the ad.

You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your device's settings (on Android: Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).

Data I collect myself

I don't collect personal information through my games. If you email me, I use your email address and message only to reply to you, and I don't share them.

Children

My games are not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, contact me and I will delete it.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking. My hosting and network providers may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability.

If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
